Mary joins the practice in October 2006 to provide counselling services. She is a Nationally accredited Counsellor who is a member of BACP and accredited by ACC. She is trained in 1st and 2nd level critical incident and trauma work to include debriefing. Mary is also a registered adult and child nurse and a practising Midwife. She is also a senior Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University.
She sees adults, couples and children and is keen to begin therapy groups for people with self-harm/ bulimia and post-natal depression. She runs training days and workshops. She is able to work with depression, anger management, self-harm, anorexia and bulimia, relationship issues, attachment grief and loss issues around child-bearing, anxiety and panic attacks, phobias and bullying. |
